It is encapsulated within a non-flux metal bonding micro optics package allowing for stable performance even in demanding environments. The DWDM is specially designed for wavelength adding or drop in telecommunication network systems. It operates over the wavelength range of 1530.33 to 1560.61nm at an accuracy of ±0.005 and has a minimum channel spacing of 100GHz. This 3-port dense wavelength division multiplexer offers advantages of low insertion loss, high channel isolation, wide passband and an epoxy free optical path. It is also designed as a cost-effective solution for Metro Access and Metro Core/Regional network environments where more emphasis is on the network nodes with fairly short spans.
