The transceivers are compliant with SONET/SDH recommendations from OC-01 to OC-03. Each member of this transceiver series complies with ITU-T G.957, G.958 specifications, IEC 60825-1 and Telcordia (Bellcore) GR-468-CORE. The transceiver modules incorporate FP and driver IC with temperature compensation and automatic power control circuitry and also incorporate an efficient PIN photodiode and trans-impedance with AGC for wide dynamic range. These cost-effective transceivers operate at 1310nm wavelength and are available for RoHS compliant products. The modules are designed for optical data communication applications such as fast Ethernet communication and SONET/SDH and ATM systems.
